Hannah's Bio
The life and musical adventures of Hannah Reid.....
Hannah started her musical journey in Sydney, Australia where she was born and raised. She began to play musical instruments at the young age of 4 years old finishing her musical studies with a Bachelor's Degree in music from Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her primary instruments are Flute, Piano and Voice but she also plays and teaches Clarinet, Saxophone, Piccolo, Trumpet and Percussion and conducts Wind Symphonies and Orchestras professionally. Electric guitar is and instrument she dabbles in and enjoys to play on stage.
Once she finished her Bachelor's Degree she decided to concentrate on her dream of becoming a song writer and recording artist. She began to work with producers in Australia (of note Nick Howard and Eargasm) and subsequently had two top 20 hits in the Australasian Charts in 2002 with "No Relief" and "Stop N Think".
From there she moved to London, England for 4 years where she collaborated with producers and other song writers and played her original music in the London live music scene. She also flew up to Oslo to work with Waterfall Music and over to LA to work with David Tyson and Pam Reswick.
In 2008 she returned to Australia where she studied Audio Engineering at SAE finishing with a Diploma of Music Industry.
She now resides in Orange County, California with her American husband, plays in two bands "Eclectic Fix" and "The Sirens" and works as a music teacher and singer/songwriter. She has recently signed a synchronisation deal with LMF Music and is in talks with several other licensing and distribution labels.
